HISTORY
Our story began in 1951 with the establishment of the travel agency Putnik, which was renamed Kompas in 1959. From its early beginnings, Kompas has operated with a clear vision and quickly grown into one of the world’s leading tourism companies, boasting a strong international presence and a wide range of services.
As part of this global system, a Kompas unit also operated in Bled for many years. Following organizational changes and the restructuring of the former parent company, KOMPAS BLED was established as an independent company, proudly continuing the tradition, knowledge, and values of the former Kompas.
Today, we operate as a receptive local destination management agency, specialized in Slovenia. With in-depth local expertise, long-standing experience, and a dedicated professional team, we create authentic experiences and tailor-made programs for guests from around the world.
